Taking over de Communications Lead role ensuring continuity in overall program engagement and communications for the Innovation Transformation Program in the Chief Technology Organization (CTO), part of the enterprise-wide Innovation Transformation Program. You will be primarily focusing on Communications for CTO leadership- and employee engagement, supporting the ongoing changes they need make to accelerate our transformation into becoming a Health Technology solutions leader.

You are responsible for:

Taking over de Communications Lead role ensuring continuity in overall program engagement and communications for the Innovation Transformation Program in the Chief Technology Organization (CTO), part of the enterprise-wide Innovation Transformation Program. You will be primarily focusing on Communications for CTO leadership- and employee engagement, supporting the ongoing changes they need make to accelerate our transformation into becoming a Health Technology solutions leader.


You will be responsible for:

Leading the CTO Communications workstream as part of the CTO transformation program team, collaborating with workstream sponsors and owners;


Strongly collaborate and align around Comms activities and joint-deliverables with Communications Business Partner responsible for the enterprise-wide Innovation Transformation Program


Ensuring understanding, joint-ownership and support of communications plan and activities in the CTO Communications Team and CTO Transformation program team;


Working with 2 other colleagues in the CTO Communications Team to coordinate and execute Communication deliverables;


Orchestrating audience engagement on a wide range of communication channels (virtual events and dialogue sessions, webinars, Yammer, newsletter, etc.);


Drive, develop, review and deploy content- and key messaging related to the Transformation Program (presentations, articles, key messaging, etc.);


Internal speaking engagements as they relate to the Transformation Program in CTO;


Supporting change management, activation and adoption of transformation program in the CTO;


Continuously evolving our communications and engagement activities based on feedback and results;


Sharing activities and communication assets with other (Communications) colleagues for activation/amplification.


Next to your main focus as a Communications Lead for the transformation program in CTO, you will be involved in / leading other External Communications related projects, like:


Create, review and align, publish and activate Research blogs to drive thought leadership on key topics;


External speaking engagements of CTO Leadership / employees with a global focus;


Support CTO media engagements in collaboration with our Group Press Office;


Support the development of our global Research website;


Other ongoing MT / in-org communications consultation and support together with colleagues in CTO Communications Team.


You are a part of

A small Innovation Transformation Program team in CTO and will work closely with the CTO Communications Team and the Program Engagement Director responsible for Engagement and Communications beyond the CTO - in the Business, Innovation & Strategy Communications Team.


To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

Master Degree-level education, with at least 5-10 years of experience in communications in an international matrixed / business environment;


Excellent English language writing skills and oral communication skills;


Capable to quickly understand and support continuity in a running transformation program that is big and complex;


Ability to quickly find your way and navigate in a big organization, also in a virtual setting working from home;


Likes to combine strategic thinking with pragmatic and hands-on mentality;


Affinity and experience in Change-management in a complex, matrixed organization;


Proven experience of leading successful employee engagement programs to support company transformation;


Stakeholder management skills, experienced in providing senior counsel, to engage, align and manage expectations with a variety of different stakeholders in a content-driven organization;


Strong project management skills and flexible mentality, ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously;


Strong empathetic skills: listening, adopting right tone of voice, adapting your style according to the personalities involved;


Experience working in healthcare and / or technology industries is an advantage;
