Job Title: Scrum Master / Project Manager
Job SummaryWe are seeking a proactive and experienced Scrum Master / Project Manager to support Agile teams and ensure seamless execution of projects within a scaled Agile environment. This role focuses on driving continuous improvement, managing risks and dependencies, and fostering a culture of transparency and collaboration. The position is a backfill requirement to ensure uninterrupted daily Scrum management and smooth team operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesPartner closely with software leaders and team members to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks, dependencies, and conflicts within the Agile framework, ensuring timely resolution and minimal delivery impact.
Lead improvement initiatives within the discipline, independently driving change and implementing solutions to enhance team effectiveness and value delivery.
Address diverse and moderately complex challenges creatively, exercising sound judgment in selecting appropriate Agile practices and problem-solving approaches.
Promote transparency by communicating project progress, impediments, and risks to stakeholders, including Release Train Engineers (RTEs) and Lean Portfolio Managers (LPMs).
Support Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and Solution Trains by leveraging Kanban boards, dashboards, and information radiators to ensure smooth value flow and alignment with strategic objectives.
Coach and mentor teams in Agile methodologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
Advocate Agile principles and strengthen collaboration across System & Solution Architects, Engineering, Marketing, and Quality & Regulatory (Q&R) functions.
Facilitate Sprint and Program Increment (PI) planning activities, ensuring readiness of vision, backlogs, and stakeholder alignment before and after PI sessions.
Enable teams to scale effectively by supporting Agile transformation initiatives, optimizing flow efficiency, and influencing key flow metrics.
Build strong working relationships, provide thought leadership, and guide teams toward innovative and effective solutions.
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, Program Management, or related field.
Strong understanding of Scrum, SAFe principles, and Agile methodologies
Continuous improvement mindset
Stakeholder and risk management expertise
Business acumen and people management skills
Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Familiarity with project management tools and DevOps practices
Change management and troubleshooting capabilities
Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills
