Research facilitator Grooming & Beauty (Contract)

Location: Drachten

Duration Assignment: 12 months (with possible extension)

Contract: via a Randstad company

Hours/week: 40

Salary range: €3450 - €4500

In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Make life better! In this role, you challenge the delivery of the consumer promise for Philips' Grooming & Beauty value propositions. You will perform and support clinical and consumer testing to gather early evidence on product performance and consumer satisfaction.

You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting researchers in setting up studies and defining research protocols.

  • Planning and conducting the studies.

  • Closely interacting with respondents during tests to retrieve relevant information and representing Philips professionally.

  • Accountability for E2E execution of studies performed in internal research facilities (recruitment, questionnaires, fieldwork, test report, dataset).

  • Accountability for supporting work packages for external research studies.

  • Ownership for relevant Standard Operation Procedures, data collection tools, and test equipment.


To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Dutch is a must for contact with respondents/test participants.

  • HBO or similar education level.

  • Bachelor's Degree in (UX) Design, Interaction Design, Visual Design, Computer Science Engineering OR Vocational Education with minimum 4 years of experience in areas such as User Experience (UX) Design, User Research, or Usability Testing.

  • A hands-on approach to conducting research and an outward focus (Curious orientation towards consumers and customers).

  • Experience in User Research and/or Clinical Research, preferably hands-on experience.

  • Proven track record of compliance with Good Clinical Practice and Good Documentation Practice.

  • Excellent planning skills and ability to work independently, being methodical in your approach.

  • Ability to professionally interact with consumers from a wide range of backgrounds.

  • Knowledge of statistical tools and software approaches.

  • Willingness to work outside 9am-5pm, in case tests run outside these hours.

  • Regular visits (approximately once a month) by the employee to Drachten are required.
