Your challenge


As a Quote & Tender Support Officer you will be helping the different modalities and services. Your challenge is to meet our customers demands by producing complex quotes, tenders and contracts within the set deadlines. When we get an order from our customer it is your responsibility that this is processed first time right in order for other departments to use the information that you have provided. You are the first point of contact for many Philips stakeholders who rely on you. You are at the center of things (spin in het web) and your input and knowledge is crucial for all other departments around you.



Your responsibilities


-   Check, on a daily basis, for new published tenders


-   To produce complex quotations, tenders and service contracts


-   Manage and answer tender questions


-   Coordinates the preparation and submission of offers and tender documents that are responsive to client requirements and in compliance with company objectives are completed in a timely manner.


-   Driving order acceptance process (e.g. processing complex orders, service contracts and contract changes)


-   Support account manager(s) in maintaining contact (telephone, e-mail) with important customers.


-   Being point of contact for our customers and helping/advising them where possible


-   Center of expertise and/or first point of contact on all sales support related topics (contracts, VAT, leasing, payment models, financial questions tools)


-   Keep the reporting overview files up to date and complete, on a daily basis.


-   Prepares on a regular basis status reports of the ongoing tendering and evaluation activities.


-   Ability to set and maintain high performance standards for self and others


-   Active role in process improvements and projects (e.g. signaling and initiating actions)


-   Funnel management (SalesForce.com, life cycle business)


-   Dispute management


-   Be an active member of the team meetings.



Your team


In this role, you are part of the Sales Support team. This team consists of 10 people who work on producing complex quotes, tenders and orders with focus on a specific customer area within the Benelux organization (responsible for all modalities, services and/or software).


Sales Support is THE department where all processes come together. You are in close contact with the sales force (account managers and product specialists), service force (account managers and operations managers), the Customer Care Center, Field Service Engineers and different members of the management team.

We are looking for


-   A Bachelors degree in, for example: communications, economics, management, international business


-   Knowledge of public procurement contracting and tendering principles.


-   Experience working with SAP is a pre


-   Well-spoken communicator (with customers), fluent in French and Dutch and English


-   Accurate and analytic


-   Preferably 3-5 years experience in a similar position


-   Someone who is able to set priorities in a very dynamic and hectic surrounding


-   Ability to set and maintain high performance standards for self and others


-   Someone who is creative in finding solutions to problems, within the company's Business Principles.


-   A strong personality who is not afraid to voice his or her opinion


-   Especially stress-resistant under pressure


-   A real team-player, but also someone who can perform his duties independently.


-   A fast and enthusiastic learner
