Description

Q&R Group Services & Solutions delivery [SSD]has as core mission to provide direction, expertise and process excellence on End to End integrated Solutions and services with standards that ensure a consistent Philips experience for our customers. They coordinate the End to End Q&R support within the scope of services and Solutions to ensure successful and compliant deployment in the Markets and Clusters in line with Philips Strategy and PBS.3

Objective:

The Projects require Q&R controls to ensure End to End services quality and compliance from the initiation phase until completion including transition and handover to the Business/Market.

The activities are the following :

  • Defines and manages the quality and reliability strategy in a professional way and oversees execution and delivery of results

  • Ensures that appropriate and actionable quality plans (as part of Project Management Plan and/or separate) are made that include all phases of the project

  • Ensures validation of key quality requirements like: usability, reliability, product performance, manufacturability, safety, security, privacy, serviceability, sustainability etc.

  • Provides effective insight and oversight of the execution of the Quality Plan(s), Risk Management activities, and of all services quality related activities during the project

  • Performs independent assessment on product or service quality performance throughout all phases of the project and post-launch product quality analysis during the monitoring phase

  • The SQE reports (with sufficient objectiveness and coverage) on the quality performance at the project gates

  • Applies and facilitates data driven Design for Quality & Reliability best practices (e.g. FMEAs, robust design, V&V, root cause analysis & problem solving) in the project

  • Ensures an effective transfer of design specifications to manufacturing, supply chain and service
