Your role:

As an Incoming inspection officer, you have the opportunity to work in a team of Quality engineers and reject handlers, with a full focus on the incoming inspection activities to ensure its continued compliance to laws and standards. You will be contributing to the operational execution of the incoming inspection process. In this role, you will closely work together with Supplier Quality and the Quality Engineers.

Your Team:

In this role, you have the opportunity to be part of the Factory Best organization, which is one of the main operation sites for Health Systems within Philips. Our Factory Best organization is driving operational excellence and manufactures, refurbishes and repairs our medical devices & components in a safe, compliant, and effective manner. Next to this, the Factory Best team is responsible for the preparation and introduction of changes on products/components/production processes for released products and receiving and implementing manufacturing transfers from Industrialization engineering.

You are responsible for:

  • Review Device History Records (DHR) on good documentation practices and approve the DHR before final release

  • Executing incoming inspection activities (e.g. Certificate of Analysis verification, EU-MDR verification) according to procedure and work instructions

  • Determines, based upon own understanding/technical knowledge, how to best approach the product quality inspection task and how to solve abnormalities

  • Analyses abnormalities that occur within own working area (e.g. process issues) and remedies it

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Minimum a 1 year of experience in Quality/ Incoming inspection processes (e.g. Certificate review) preferably from the Electro-mechanical domain

  • Creation and implementation of receiving inspection plan

  • Very accurately in the review of documentation & Administration activities

  • Experience with commonly used problem-solving methodologies

  • Able to work with Word, Excel and SAP (preferable)

  • Good communication and reporting skills in Dutch and English
