As part of the Site Manufacturing Engineering (SME) team for Final Assembly and Electronics, you will contribute to developing and implementing world-class industrialization solutions for Philips products such as Shavers and Grooming devices. SME focuses on designing integral architectures for product, process, and supply chain to enhance cost efficiency, time-to-market, and sustainability. The team collaborates with equipment and tooling suppliers to drive innovation, leveraging state-of-the-art technologies for seamless product launches.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement production equipment for assembly processes.
Conduct supplier activity reviews to ensure quality and compliance.
Optimize and improve assembly production processes, including automatic/manual assembly lines, equipment handling, and assembly techniques.
Transition equipment and processes to operational teams effectively.
Ensure process and equipment capability align with defined requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Proven experience with assembly techniques.
Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset for working across development, production, and support teams.
Familiarity with tools and methods such as Design for Manufacturing (DfM), Design for Testability (DfT), PFMEA, and process/capability analysis (e.g., DfSS).
