Product Industrialization Engineer - Assembly

Environment

As part of the Site Manufacturing Engineering (SME) team for Final Assembly and Electronics, you will contribute to developing and implementing world-class industrialization solutions for Philips products such as Shavers and Grooming devices. SME focuses on designing integral architectures for product, process, and supply chain to enhance cost efficiency, time-to-market, and sustainability. The team collaborates with equipment and tooling suppliers to drive innovation, leveraging state-of-the-art technologies for seamless product launches.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement production equipment for assembly processes.

  • Conduct supplier activity reviews to ensure quality and compliance.

  • Optimize and improve assembly production processes, including automatic/manual assembly lines, equipment handling, and assembly techniques.

  • Transition equipment and processes to operational teams effectively.

  • Ensure process and equipment capability align with defined requirements.



Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Proven experience with assembly techniques.

  • Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset for working across development, production, and support teams.

  • Familiarity with tools and methods such as Design for Manufacturing (DfM), Design for Testability (DfT), PFMEA, and process/capability analysis (e.g., DfSS).
