The Philips Spend Management organization, manages all indirect spend in Philips, at a total value of over 5,5 Billion Euro. A few large strategic programs are defined to optimize the way Philips operates and procures services. These initiatives look at optimizing insourcing/outsourcing of activities, working with strategic partners to support and optimize how Philips can deliver value at lower operational cost. 

For one of the programs, a ProjectManager/PMO expert is searched for. We are looking for an experienced project manager/PMO expert, that can easily connect with senior stakeholders to coordinate and keep oversight over activities, maintain the planning, identify risks/issues and maintain structure and control in the program. It is expected to team up with the Program manager, be his right hand and also drive (one or two) works streams independently. 

Activities:

  • Monitors the competing constraints of scope, schedule, budget, quality, resources and risk 
  • Provides project / program management with regular performance status, variances to plan and identification of areas for corrective actions
  • Coordinating communication across workstreams
  • Applies project projects and programs support using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Sharepoint, MS Project.
  • Provides consolidated reporting to the program leadership
  • Facilitation of project web site, special meetings like workshops
  • Facilitate capturing lessons learned and initiate any project specific improvement actions
  • Responsible to create overall project and program communication standards for projects to follow
  • Assist the project or program manager in developing necessary communications to project or program stakeholders
  • Coordinates with PMO /leads of external partners/suppliers regarding status, issues, actions, corrective actions needed
  • Support in creating communications/project report outs and plan change management activities.


Requested experience:
Run/supported in other large programs, preferably business transformation and/or outsourcing programs, where processes, IT systems, organisations are changed.
Significant experience in project management, preferably certified in PMI
