Manufacturing Engineer
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
Make life better! As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes, tools, and equipment for Philips' leading-edge health technology products. This role offers a chance to work closely with various teams to ensure efficient, reliable production in a dynamic environment.

You will be responsible for:
Writing work instructions, monitoring and maintaining devices and tooling, and implementing production processes
Conducting root cause analysis for Defect On Arrival (DEFOA) and Missing On Arrival (MOA) cases, and creating structural solutions
Initiating problem reports (PR) and 8D forms for long-term process improvement
Working with team leads, troubleshooters, and development teams to minimize production disturbances and maximize yield
Preparing and introducing product changes through Life Cycle Management and New Product Introductions (NPI)
Supporting and executing Process Validation and participating in audits as an expert
Leading improvement projects to enhance product quality and process efficiency
To succeed in this role you should have the following skills and experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or comparable field
Hands-on troubleshooting mentality with technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical tooling
Experience in project management, quality management, and quality systems
Preferably experience in the medical industry and familiarity with ISO 9001, 13485, FDA requirements, and related methodologies like FMEA, 8D
Experience with high-tech medical devices in a manufacturing or engineering setting
Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt certification (preferred)
Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate clearly in Dutch and English
