Ensures high quality Learning Needs Analysis with all stakeholders based on Business Needs Analysis provided. After the investment has been approved, the Learning Consultant is responsible for the end to end design of the learning solution, working with partners across Philips University, vendor organizations and PPS. Learning design is the key focus of the role with project management, quality assurance, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement as key enablers of delivering effective and impactful learning solutions within cost and time targets.


  • Manages design in accordance with agreed conditions of time, cost
  • Contributes to demand planning and forecasting with regard to development and maintenance of learning interventions
  • Engages with Subject Matter Experts to extract high quality learning content and manages the Subject Matter Experts’ input and feedback in the end to end process
  • Designs learning solutions; creates an (content) outline for proposed learning solution, sets specifications for development of the materials and takes the delivery approach and channels into consideration in the design phase
  • Performs detailed quality assurance on developed learning solutions, considering learning effectiveness and user experience
  • Creates appropriate assessment strategy for learning solutions and supports Sr. Learning Consultant in measuring the impact of learning where relevant
  • Participates in or leads internal capability-building initiatives and university-wide improvement projects


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in a related field (such as learning, psychology, Educational Science and Technology, counselling or teaching)
  • PMI/Agile training
  • Has 3- 5 year of relevant working experience, with at least 2 years’ experience in learning design
  • Project management experience
