Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Verification Engineer with strong expertise in both Manual and Automation Testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing test strategies, developing automation frameworks, executing comprehensive testing activities, and ensuring software quality across enterprise applications. The role also involves collaborating with global teams, mentoring junior team members, and driving continuous improvement in testing processes and automation practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements and functional specifications.

  • Perform end-to-end testing activities including:

    • Sanity Testing

    • UI Testing

    • Functional Testing

    • Regression Testing

    • API Testing

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize automation frameworks using Selenium, Java, TestNG, and other automation tools.

  • Create and execute automated test suites for new builds and change requests (CRs).

  • Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure quality deliverables aligned with project objectives.

  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and coordinate issue resolution with stakeholders.

  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including:

    • Sprint Planning

    • Daily Scrum Meetings

    • Sprint Reviews

    • Sprint Demos

  • Support CI/CD integration for automated testing and quality validation.

  • Maintain and update technical documentation related to testing strategies and automation frameworks.

  • Track, report, and manage defects using tools such as Jira, TestRail, Quality Center, SharePoint, and Issue Tracker.

  • Coordinate and collaborate with geographically distributed testing teams across India, Europe, and America.

  • Mentor and guide new team members while promoting best practices in software verification and quality assurance.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 6–8 years of experience in Software Verification, Manual Testing, and Automation Testing.

  • Strong hands-on experience in developing automation frameworks for:

    • UI Testing

    • API Testing

  • Expertise in:

    • Selenium

    • Java

    • TestNG

  • Good understanding of:

    • Microservices Architecture

    • SDLC, STLC, and Bug Life Cycle

    • CI/CD processes related to test automation

  • Strong experience in black-box/manual testing methodologies.

  • Experience with:

    • Microsoft Test Management Tool (MTM)

    • TFS

  • Knowledge of cloud-based solutions and environments.

  • Familiarity with ELK stack is an added advantage.

  • Experience with performance testing tools, preferably for UI-based applications.

  • Proven expertise in preparing and reviewing test cases aligned with functional design documents.

  • Experience in defect tracking and reporting using Jira, TestRail, Quality Center, SharePoint, and other bug tracking tools.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the Healthcare domain is an added advantage.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
