Working in the Creative Services team within BCD (Brand Communications and Digital) at Philips UKI, you will work with the Senior Creative Services Manager (SCSM) and Creative Services Artwork Manager (CSAM). You will manage assigned projects from initial brief through to completion ensuring stakeholder deadlines are fulfilled and expectations managed. You will need to ensure consistency and accuracy across all offline and online touchpoints adhering to Philips and retailer brand guidelines. Projects will be assigned via a project management systems, as part of your role you will be required to update status, upload files and collaborate with stakeholders, data captured will be used within Creative Services KPIs reports


Key areas of responsibilities (KARS) for this role include:

•   Manage the creative services workload – including scheduling, tracking & data capture within workflow system

•   Accurately estimate time required to complete jobs and deliver on time, every time.

•   Prioritise schedule in line with business needs, anticipating bottle necks and managing stakeholder expectations through clear communication

•   Ensure all creative services projects run smoothly, are checked for accuracy and are delivered to the highest standard, ensuring Philips and retailer brand guidelines are adhered to

•   Work closely with Senior Creative Services Manager and Creative Services Artwork Manager to take design briefs through to print-ready artwork or digital asset delivery

•   Support the Creative Services team by artworking various brand and retailer collateral including: in store POS, large format graphics, Marketing & PR collateral and digital banners. Other requests will include image retouching and artwork amends

•   Work closely with Production agencies when required to ensure high quality design is reflected in high quality print

•   Ensure internal processes are followed to ensure asset naming and version control is maintained

•   Ensure working files are ordered and neat, that folder structures are adhered to, and that work is saved to the server upon completion.

•   Admin and general support to the Studio Manager and Senior Creative Manager

Education and experience

•   Strong working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)

•   Diverse portfolio which demonstrates proficiency in the artworking of digital banners, marketing materials, instore POS and posters

•   Familiarity with design techniques (eg prototyping, print production)

•   1-2 years of experience within the creative industry, preferably in an Artworker role

•   Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure

•   A strong desire to learn and progress

•   Creativity skills and problem solving aptitude

•   Strong attention to detail

•   Excellent organisational and communication skills

•   Although not essential, a degree/diploma in a related discipline would be highly preferable
