Predict and prevent failures through innovative electronics engineering.
Description:
As an Electronics Engineer, you will play a key role in developing predictive algorithms and patterns that forecast electronic part failures through data mining of log files. You will validate the effectiveness of these solutions through comprehensive testing, both pre- and post-implementation.
The Role:
You will analyze data from interventional medical systems to identify potential component failures early, ensuring system reliability and performance. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of cutting-edge hardware solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Failure Prediction: Identify and develop patterns from error logs to predict early failure of components, such as PCs, hard disks, and displays, using data log files.
Data Analysis: Mine and analyze repair data to build statistical models that distinguish patterns and assess the effectiveness of implemented fixes.
Prototype Testing: Conduct early integration tests on prototypes and address any supplier-related issues, ensuring timely follow-up actions.
Verification and Validation: Execute verification protocols for units and components, ensuring compliance with standards and performance requirements.
EMC Expertise: Apply knowledge of EMC testing to evaluate and enhance product design and performance.
Process Compliance: Ensure all tasks are performed following established department processes and quality standards.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum of 4 years of relevant R&D experience in product design, development, and maintenance.
Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in data analysis, predictive modeling, and testing techniques. Experience with EMC design and testing is a plus.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, self-motivation, proactive attitude, and the ability to work independently.
Preferred: Agile Release Train experience and Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification.

Additional Information:
Hybrid Work: Minimum 3-4 days per week onsite in Eindhoven.
