As one of the financial spokespersons for Philips, a company that is listed at Euronext Amsterdam and the New York Stock Exchange, you are responsible for executing effective and integrated financial communications to manage and co-ordinate financial media announcements (earnings, M&A, Group announcements including strategic updates and long-term partnerships).


You can coordinate and educate other media relations managers on financial disclosure. You are responsible for identifying and managing issues management communications and agree on the right approach.


The candidate will be part of a team of 10 people, of which 6 are based in Amsterdam and 4 are based in the US. Working together with senior stakeholders at HQ, colleagues in the Business Groups and in the Markets.



Responsibilities:


- OPERATIONAL


- Work closely with Philips CEO, CFO, Investor Relations and other Group functions (e.g. Legal, Treasury, Tax, and IP) to manage financial media announcements (earnings, M&A, Group announcements including strategic updates and partnerships)


- Planning and staffing media interviews for key senior spokespeople (CEO, BG leaders and other executives) with targeted print, online and broadcast media (journalists and bloggers)


- Manage issues management communications and be a trusted advisor to your executive stakeholders


- FINANCIAL:


- Creation of financial press releases, and messaging and Q&A documents


- PEOPLE:


- Work collaboratively within the Integrated Communications team to embrace culture and demonstrate integrated ways of working across multiple teams to achieve demonstrable benefits, for instance with the employee communications team to leverage important financial announcements or explain issues to employee audiences.



Requirements:


- completed study, ideally Master's degree


- Approximately 10 years work experience, in a complex/matrix organization


- Previous experience of working in the area of financial disclosures for a listed company within the health/medical technology industry/Experience in the Healthcare industry is a nice to have


- Proven company spokesperson experience (English), particularly with respect to financial disclosures


- Ability to mentor staff, such as functional and BG business partners, on Group topics.


- Proven experience in coordinating and disseminating communications campaigns across multiple markets to achieve measurable results.


- Highly skilled expert in finance, with experience in financial disclosures.


- Ability to provide counsel to executives Understanding of the power and importance of integrated marketing adaptive, collaborative, and executes flawlessly
