We are looking for an interim marketing professional with excellent business and analytical skills who can help us further drive this category.


You are responsible for

  • Managing revenue & margin targets and market share position of your category in the Benelux market


  • Translate the European Beauty marketing plan into a winning Benelux plan.


  • Define the source of business you will focus on and develop an effective marketing strategy, focused on short term, as well as long term activities (24 months)


  • Responsible for translating and checking assets, which are developed by the Global/European team. The European team manages the consumer campaigns, but you will actively deliver your input (local consumer insights) to that team to achieve your local marketing goals


  • Working as part of the full commercial triangle including sales and trade shopper marketing to bring the Beauty marketing strategy to live, across all touchpoints


  • Responsible for the local market, competition, shopper and consumer analysis to gain insights to help you determine your market activation strategy for your assigned portfolio, based on the consumer decision journey


  • Operational day to day management in order to reach set KPI's (incl. budget)



You are a part of The broader marketing team consists of specialists in different marketing functions such as Media, PR, Consumer care, Trade Shopper Management and Sales. Next to your colleagues in the Benelux team, you will work closely together within our Western European Beauty Marketing Team, who is responsible for the WEU Beauty category performance.



The candidate we are looking for knows how to operate in a matrix organization with different stakeholders. For the large part, you will have a direct impact on your own results, but managing through others is also an important skill to have in order to be successful.


Your base will be in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. We think it is important that our teams meet face-to-face weekly, but we also recognize the importance of managing your own agenda. 2 days in the office in Eindhoven or 1 day in Eindhoven and 1 day in Amsterdam.


You will report to the Benelux Marketing Leader.


To succeed in this role, you'll need a customer-first attitude and the followingÞ


  • You are driven by a passion for consumer and shopper excellence


  • You have strong analytical skills and you know how to turn data into insights and action


  • Proven affinity with digital marketing is a pre; You are capable to think strategic and act pragmatic


  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills


  • Master's degree, preferably commercially/business oriented


  • 8-10 yrs of experience in a business/marketing role (or similar)


  • Proven track-record in managing a business and achieving result


  • Fluent in both Dutch and English is a must, French is a plus.

Represent the voice of the consumer for Philips in the Market and responsible for delivering measurable business impact (Growth, Consumer NPS and Brand Preference) for the Personal Health Business Cluster & the underlying Businesses, as well as other (Health systems) business clusters with consumer focused propositions (example sleep) through the creation and implementation of the 24-month integrated consumer-centric Marketing plan in the Market
