Freelance Communication channels specialist

Your challenge

Are you a communications professional with a strong affinity with internal communication channels?

As communication channels specialist you support the communications network. This specific role will be a temporarily role to support the landing of the new operating model. Part of your scope is to reflect the new organization structure across our internal communication channels and support with the transition of the content to this new internal comms channel structure. You are good at aligning with stakeholders, service-minded and pragmatic.

Your responsibilities

As an integral member of the Communications channel team, your main responsibilities as

Communication channels specialist are to:

• Give communication channels guidance and direction to enable biggest impact and efficiency.

• Provide communication channels support to the communications network.

  
  

• Drive efficiency, efficacy, and financial gain by applying the standards of our communication channels.

  
  

• Analyze and provide recommendations for use of channels and content based on data.

  
  

• Promote and embed best practices of our communication channels into the way of working of our colleagues.

  
  

• Communicate solutions and recommendations clearly and persuasively within team and to stakeholders.

  
  

• Help us continuously improve the way we work and bring new ideas to the table to make best use of Philips’ communication channels.

Your team

The Communications Center of Excellence (CCoE) is a team of content and channel specialists who oversee the sourcing, creation, scheduling, publishing, and measurement of global Philips communications content. The Communications Center of Excellence is a sub-team of Philips Integrated Communications & Events function.

We are looking for

As a Communication channels specialist we expect you to have:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Communications related area

  
  

• At least 1-2 years of experience in communications, preferably in a large, international company

  
  

• Experience with statistics and helping others to understand data

  
  

• Strong organizational and consultancy skills

  
  

• Ability to provide (technical) guidance and direction

  
  

• Experience working with and managing relationships with key stakeholders

  
  

• Ability to work as an integral member of a multifunctional team (ability to lead and follow)

  
  

• Fluency in English
