Freelance Commercial Leader Consumer Direct
Your role is to Lead, Inspire and Coach a functional team driving sales growth and merchandising excellence for Philips Store Personal in WE across categories with the support of the Business groups.The teams consists of 15FTE.
You are ready to drive change throughout the Western Europe organisation with high impact. You own and drive the digital performance (Revenue, Margin, Price and AOV) of the D2C PH business for Western Europe across all categories.
It's about ensuring product is available to the consumer when they want it, where they want it and how they want it. This role reports into the Consumer Direct and Marketing Leader for Western Europe.
Specific KARs for WE Role:
Responsible for P&L of the Consumer Direct channel in WE
Defines strategy & activations for the channel
Grow the sales, digital performance and engagement of the personal health categories by
Implementing the merchandising strategy in close collaboration with your stakeholders.
You drive, inspire and organize that all pages are effectively merchandised, identifying best sellers, key trends & stories;
Analyzing portfolio data and making proposals for improvement of the consumer decision journey, conversion and basket value. Identify, suggest and enroll promotional activities to drive sales opportunities whilst mitigating risk to margin
Ensuring accuracy for all aspects of our products, including set up, pricing, categorisation, ranking, upsell / cross sell online, listing new products and Optimise web conversion, through product availability
Understanding the consumer needs & translating this into an engaging consumer journey;
Coordinating & consulting with various stakeholders in the digital team to ensure your categories are represented in the best way
Create/optimize procedures for content creation, category landing pages & campaigns and implement these in collaboration with 360's, marketing and the other Digital Team members
Ensures good representation of the PH categories on all digital touchpoint to deliveran engaging consumer experience
Required competencies:
Bachelor's/Master's Degree
6+ years of progressive experience in retail Merchandising/ Planning is essential (E-Commerce, Vertical retailing)
Experienced team manager
Strong history of analytical team leadership, communications and building collaborative business partner relationships
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage effectively with a broad range of audiences including senior leaders and central teams
Expert in retail math's, financial planning, and assortment planning skills with knowledge of merchandising tools
Responds resourcefully, flexibly, and positively when faced with new challenges and demands.
Deals effectively with the stress and complexities of various situations. Moves forward and gets things done under conditions of change or uncertainty
