Electronics UI (User Interface) Engineer

You are skilled Electrical and/or Electronic Engineer responsible for delivering solutions to engineering challenges in medical system and subsystems of Philips Image Guided Therapy (IGT) machines.

Your will contribute to improve 2.5 billion lives per year 2030 around the world!

Your role:

• Providing technical application expertise on non-graphical user interface hardware design, components and configurations,

• Specifying technical (sub-)system and unit level requirements for non-graphical user interfaces, translating field application performance into relevant requirements and design improvements, within provided scope and timeline,

• Evaluating supplier design prototypes, proposing design improvements,

• Performing feasibility and functional testing, including building test set-ups, data gathering and analysis,

• Demonstrating troubleshooting abilities; interpreting results interdependently; critically assessing performance reliability of subsystems / components; performing systematic risk and safety assessments,

• Working with other functions in projects (mechanical, norm compliance, quality, lifecycle management, project management, purchasing, quality, verification, etc.) taking ownership of own units while gaining and leveraging wider professional insights.

You're the right fit if:

• You possess Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent,

• Have minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience within engineering domain, consumer / professional electronics industry (this role is not suitable for career starters), 

• You can demonstrate R&D experience in product design, development, and maintenance of released products,

• You are naturally curious and have affinity with hands-on lab investigations, simulation and conceptual thinking capabilities,

• You have collaborated with external vendors and suppliers,

• You are good communicator verbal and written in English.
