Electrical Software Equipment Engineer
We are looking for someone eager to deepen their technical insights into equipment design. Working in our department means no day is the same, and you will have a high degree of independence. As we support the manufacturing department, the work is primarily on-site.
Responsibilities:
Design, engineer, document, and improve new and existing electrical appliances, test boxes, and test systems.
Lead projects, monitor execution, progress, and costs. Projects are typically multidisciplinary, involving Electrical (E), Mechanical (M), and Software (S) components.
Manage engineers during assembly or installation work.
Perform hands-on assembly or installation work.
Create drawings and schematics (assembly and mono drawings), bills of materials, regulations, and compile technical documentation for purchased parts into a technical file and archive.
Execute projects according to specifications, ensuring that necessary diagrams and drawings for the project are always accessible (TPD).
Translate client demands and wishes into feasible technical and financial specifications.
Include all functional requirements and requirements regarding safety, ergonomics, standards, etc., in the specification.
Develop project budgets and schedules upon request.
Report to the customer, providing insights into project progress and discussing remaining work, ensuring the customer has a clear overview of activities.
Take responsibility for project aftercare.
Draft maintenance instructions and determine maintenance intervals.
Determine required spare part stock due to errors and/or maintenance work on the relevant installation or machine.
Serve as the go-to person for (electrical) safety.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
4-8 years of experience as an engineer, with an understanding of working within (equipment) development departments and experience in development and/or production organizations for professional industrial products.
Experience with Eplan is preferred.
Mandatory knowledge and experience with Labview/Python.
Experience with SAP/Windchill/Github is preferred.
Knowledge or experience with Industry 4.0, IoT, and Robotics is preferred.
Project management skills.
Proficiency in Dutch (native) and English, both verbal and written.
Proven customer focus and a drive for quality and reliability.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to research and address difficult issues using innovative approaches.
Strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.

Excellent documentation skills, essential in our highly regulated industry where everything must be documented and reviewed.
