This position in the Brand Licensing (BL) team is to support the brand compliance and growth of our Brand Licensing Business Clusters. This is a key role on the team that is responsible for operationally managing our partnerships between Philips and our brand licensees.

You are responsible for

  • Operationally managing our Trademark License Agreements (TMLA) between Philips and our licensees
  • Driving licensees to bring new propositions to the marketplace aligned with Philips Mission and Brand Guidelines
  • Ensuring brand compliance by managing releases in assigned functional areas (account management, product, marketing, consumer care, quality and sustainability)
  • Active role in brand committee management meetings and general adherence to our agreements by select licensees

The Brand Licensing team, within the Intellectual Properties and Standards (IP&S) organization, is responsible to manage these relationships. As part of this team, you are empowered to use your voice and expertise to have a positive impact on your team, our business, and ensure the Philips brand consistency and value is maintained and grown.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent ideally in Business Management, Marketing or Engineering and Technology
  • Project management training or certification a plus5 years related experience in licensing, business development, product development, marketing, consumer care, quality or key account management
  • Has relevant work experience in leading teams, managing complex contracts/relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and conflict resolution (or enforce adherence to guidelines)Experience working at or with strong brands or corporate brands
  • Brand and business oriented, strategic & creative thinker
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent English - oral and written
  • Ability to travel internationally
