Philips
UX Designer
About the Team
We are an award-winning, multi-disciplinary community that shapes end-to-end service experiences for healthcare partners. By integrating UX, Service Design, User Research, and Usability, we bridge the gap between front-line clinical needs and behind-the-scenes operations to create impactful, scalable solutions.
Your Role
As a UI/UX Designer, you will craft intuitive, empathetic, and visually compelling digital interfaces for complex healthcare ecosystems. You will own the design process from initial concept and user testing to developer hand-off, ensuring every touchpoint prioritizes the customer.
Key Responsibilities
Holistic Design: Analyze and conceptualize digital solutions within complex service models, balancing the needs of both customers and employees.
End-to-End Execution: Drive the journey from high-level service mapping to detailed interface design, ensuring all solutions are validated through user testing.
Technical Excellence: Utilize industry-standard tools (Figma, UX prototyping, AI creation tools) and leverage our Filament Design System to create high-fidelity outputs.
Strategic Collaboration: Foster a co-creation culture between design, business stakeholders, and agile development teams to ensure technical feasibility and innovation.
Storytelling & Influence: Communicate design rationales with enthusiasm to align stakeholders and drive the program’s vision.
Project Management: Navigate complex constraints—including budget and timelines—while maintaining high UX standards and long-term strategic goals.
What We Are Looking For
Proven Track Record: Extensive experience in UI/UX for cloud platforms and digital applications, with a portfolio that demonstrates clear impact.
Domain Expertise: Experience navigating complex digital ecosystems, ideally within Healthcare or large-scale Service Design sectors.
Research-Led Mindset: Skilled in user research and usability testing to validate systemic software solutions.
Technical Fluency: Mastery of Figma and prototyping tools, with a solid understanding of agile development cycles and (ideally) basic coding knowledge.
Communication Skills: An articulate storyteller who can convincingly explain the "why" behind design decisions.
Design Advocacy: A passionate professional committed to elevating design quality through constructive feedback and a refusal to accept the status quo.
You will be employed by the Randstad and work on assignment at Philips.
