Location: Philips Campus in Best

Duration Assignment: 12 months (with possible extension)

Contract: via a Randstad company

Hours/week: 40

Salary range: €4100,- t/m €5700,- (Gross per month) + Benefits


Your role:

In this role, you will collaborate with a passionate team to shape outstanding user experiences for products and solutions developed by the Image Guided Therapy Systems (IGT-S) business unit. At IGT, we are dedicated to supporting patients through innovative, minimally invasive procedures, helping them return to the lives they love. You are responsible for

  • Design & Deliver: Drive the design process from analysis and concept through to high-fidelity prototyping, focusing on user interaction, information architecture, and strong visual UI design.

  • Human-Centered Approach: Apply the Philips human-centered design process (analysis, exploration, storytelling, prototyping, and testing) to ensure solutions are highly usable and aligned with user needs.

  • Collaboration & Vision: Partner with developers and stakeholders to transparently communicate design decisions and deliver solutions consistent with Philips’ Design Language System and Brand guidelines.

  • Team Contribution: Foster a supportive, collaborative environment, actively giving and receiving feedback to help the team achieve shared goals.

Your Team

The IGT Systems R&D Design team. This team consists of world class Designers from the awarded Philips Experience Design community, based out of Best (NL) and Pune and Bangalore (India). The team is responsible for the UX, Product and Service experience design of all IGT Systems’ innovations and product lines. In this role you will report to the Design Director IGT Systems.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Design, Design Research or related discipline, or equivalent professional Design training experience with minimum of 5+ years of relevant professional experience.

  • Experience with complex systems for professional use in regulated environments, preferably healthcare

  • Experience with Figma, MS Office and prototyping tools, being flexible in adapting towards new tools and way of working.Experience with Agile way-of-working, Scrum methodology and SAFe

  • Experience with complex systems for professional use in a regulated environment like in healthcare is preferred.

  • Works together with project teams to co-create design solutions, considering the broader ecosystem and valuing diverse perspectives.

  • Independently leads design delivery in projects of average complexity with good understanding of budget and time constraints, driving efficiency and holding project level design quality reviews.
