For our Oral Healthcare category we need a mid-level to senior UI/UX designer who can handle visual design as well as Interaction Design.


Description:
As an Interaction Designer you are responsible to define the full user experience within a project: from translation user needs into interaction framework, creating user flows/scenarios, wireframes and to build user interface mockups and prototypes. You setup up usability tests when relevant and guide external agencies in their work. At each stage, you will anticipate what our users need, advocate for them and ensure that the final product surprises and delights them. You use your knowledge and additional user data to create the best possible user experience and interaction design. You have a proactive and innovative mindset that allows you to create innovative and appropriate user experiences that solve our business’ and customer needs.

Information architecture:
Create information architectures and application flows (flowcharts). Creating functional designs for application screens (wireframes).

Interface & usability:
Apply and define (general) interface and interaction principles. Define and apply general usability principles.

Experience design:
Crafting experience demonstrators, prototypes and scenarios that together create a great brand experience. Use appropriate skills (sketching, prototyping and specification) to define and communicate interaction concepts.

Technical (hardware/software):
Identification and applying of digital technology opportunities and constraints.


Key activities for this assignment:
-  Ongoing development and business support
o  create flows and assets and specs for the Sonicare App, Ventures and occasionally for the Sonicare for Kids app
o  check build and implementation quality
o  maintain documentation repository
-  Predevelopment work:
o  requirements (business & technical) gathering and refinement
o  develop concepts, information architecture, visual design & high level content, iterate and groom
o  present and gather feedback from multiple internal and external stakeholders
o  create prototypes and assist with testing
-  Design support:
o  improve wow with development and business (App development team in India, business and I&D in Bothell, CPD2 in NL, different Business verticals, etc)
o  support Design Business partner to influence business on roadmap
o  work out certain design initiatives (depending on the brief, but can include basically everything)
o  create documentation repository
