Job Responsibilities:

• Manual Testing
  
  
  
  • Execute comprehensive manual test cases to identify defects and inconsistencies
  
  
  • Develop and maintain detailed test cases
  
  
  • Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and potential issues
  
  
  • Document test results, including bugs, screenshots, and reproduction steps
  
  
  • Collaborate with developers to validate bug fixes and verify resolutions
  
  
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage across different scenarios and user workflows
  
  
  
  

• UI & API Automation
  
  
  
  • Design and develop automated test scripts for UI and API endpoints
  
  
  • Maintain and update automated test suites as application features evolve
  
  
  • Execute automated tests as part of CI/CD pipelines and debug failures
  
  
  • Analyze test results
  
  
  • Debug automation failures
  
  
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Mandatory skills
  
  
  
  • Should have experience in manual testing of web applications and APIs
  
  
  • Should have good understanding of SDLC
  
  
  • Should have experience in test case design and execution
  
  
  • Ability to identify, document, and escalate defects with clarity
  
  
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g., TFS)
  
  
  • Hands-on experience in UI (Selenium) for web applications and API testing
  
  
  • Experience in API testing
  
  
  • Experience with BDD frameworks (like Cucumber, Behave)
  
  
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable test code
  
  
  
  

• Technical Knowledge
  
  
  
  • Experience in Python programming language or similar
  
  
  • Writing and maintaining test scripts
  
  
  • Understanding of OOPS concepts
  
  
  • Should have experience in UI automation using selenium
  
  
  • Understanding of HTTP methods and status codes
  
  
  • API payload validation and response verification
  
  
  • Tools: Postman, REST Assured, or similar
