Your Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Systems Test Engineer to join our dynamic Mother & Child Care department at Philips. In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical execution and regulatory necessity. Rather than focusing solely on bench testing, your primary responsibility will be System Test Coordination—defining comprehensive test strategies, managing robust compliance documentation, and acting as the primary liaison with external vendors and test houses.

Operating with clear initial guidance, you will ensure that our life-impacting consumer products meet the highest safety, quality, and global Chemical Regulatory and Compliance standards.

Your Responsibilities:

• Test Strategy & Planning: Analyze complex system testing requirements to develop detailed test plans and overarching test strategies that guarantee thorough functional coverage while strictly adhering to regulatory guidelines and Philips policies.

• Vendor & Test House Coordination: Serve as the central point of contact for external test houses, coordinating the assignment, execution, and timely delivery of specialized chemical and system testing.

• Compliance & Documentation: Assess incoming test results from external partners, draft highly detailed compliance reports, identify anomalies or deviations, and maintain airtight regulatory documentation.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal R&D, quality assurance, and project management teams to align testing scopes and deliverables with overall product timelines.

• Process Optimization: Support the integration of new technologies and platforms into existing environments by conducting compatibility testing, and help maintain automated scripts or tools to improve overall test efficiency.

• Stakeholder Communication: Keep key internal stakeholders informed on testing progress, proactively escalating critical compliance or technical issues to facilitate swift decision-making.

Skills & Experience required to perform this role:

• Strong background and hands-on experience in Chemical Regulatory Compliance and product safety standards.

• Proven experience in System Test Coordination, including the ability to architect test strategies without needing to run every execution yourself.

• Demonstrated track record managing External Vendor Coordination and collaborating with third-party test houses.

• Exceptional technical Documentation & Reporting skills, with a sharp eye for analyzing test data against industry benchmarks.

• Cross-functional Communication Skills to seamlessly translate regulatory requirements between engineering teams and business stakeholders.
