If so, lets be in touch for a 6 month contract (extendable) working with a global software excellence team in health tech. Our emphasis and goal is to role model excellence in code quality, CI/CD, test automation across 5000 software engineering professionals.

This contract will give you opportunities to participate in deep dives in diverse codebases and tech stacks to feed your own learning as well as opportunities to write impressive clean code as examples to counter common anti-patterns of clean code/infrastructure as code and automating, contribute to open source projects, talk/participate in internal conferences, code dojos and hackathons.

Some travel may be necessary depending on location. Remote working is an option.

You are responsible for… 
Supporting businesses in the creation, improvement and execution of their continuous improvement plans for code quality, test automation, CI/CD 
Keeping up-to-date on emerging trends in code quality, test automation, CI/CD and applying these 
Advocating the benefits of world class code quality, test automation, CI/CD and a DevOps culture across the organization 
Designing, improving and executing training in code quality, test automation, CI/CD 
Maintaining and expanding an internal and external community profile for Philips in relation to code quality, test automation, CI/CD 

You are a part of… 
A global Philips Software Centre of Excellence dedicated to improving a range of software competencies that enable sustainably high rates of innovation and quality. 

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience 
Master’s degree (or equivalent industry experience) with significant STEM content 
10+ years (or demonstrable equivalent skill) leading and applying code quality in a variety of large scale environments 
20+ years (or demonstrable equivalent skill) in software development with significant R&D exposure 
Experience of scaling competency measurement, training and advocacy across 1000s of people 
Hands-on technical ability in a variety of common code quality, test automation, CI/CD tools & technologies
