The AR/VR program (augmented / virtual reality) at IP&S is shifting from an R&D phase to a business development phase. Next to R&D activities, the AR/VR technology will be presented to external companies with aim to partner. Therefore the R&D team in Eindhoven needs support to implement the AR/VR algorithms in demonstrators and have these demonstrators included in AR/VR systems of (potential) partners. This is coordinated by the department of Software concepts.
Job description:
- Implement AR/VR video algorithms in demonstrators
*Research style demonstrators to validate technology
*Market realistic demonstrators for business development purposes
-Support business development activities with:
*Making available demonstrators for partner companies
*Integrate our video algorithms in the system of our partner company, including problem solving / optimization of the system
*Facilitate partner companies in using the video algorithms
-Support AR/VR standardization activities by implementing proof of concepts based on our AR/VR video algorithms
*Including working together with partner companies to accomplish joint proof of concepts
Capabilities:
-Engineering background
-Video algorithm background
-Team player, both internally and externally with partners
-Hands-on mentality, problem solver
-Willingness to travel (limited)
