Assembly Mechanic 

Location: Best, North Brabant

Start: as soon as possible 

Hours per week: 32-40

Salary range: 2200-2400

In this role you will:

As an Assembly Mechanic, you will be working in the Digital X-Ray, Image Guided Therapy or Magnetic Resonance production team and responsible for assembling different medical devices. Working according to procedures is not a problem for you, and with your assembly experience, you can handle work instructions and technical drawings.

You will be responsible for:

• Assembling mechanical, optical and electrical components of various medical systems according to drawings and work instructions;
• Installing various components and wiring different types of products;
• Ensuring that these products are delivered complete and working;
• Thinking and implementing continuous improvements(how can it be done: faster, better, cheaper).

To succeed in this position, you must have the following skills and experience:

• Demonstrated technical affinity;
• Good command of the Dutch and/or English language;
• Flexible working attitude, able to work under time pressure;
• A proactive attitude and independence;
• You have experience with LEAN tools;
• Good communication skills.

You will be a part of:

The Digital X-Ray, Image Guided Therapy and Magnetic Resonance production teams are based at the Best campus. Which department you join will be based on your skills and interests and discussed during the interview process. In Factory Best, Philips considers multi-employability of great importance.
