Manufacturing Engineer
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you are responsible for supporting, improving, and maintaining the production processes within Factory Best. In this role, you will drive the Life Cycle Management (LCM) activities for IGT Mobile Systems, ensuring optimal process efficiency, product quality, and seamless technical support.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Support & Optimization:
Provide 2nd-line production support and troubleshooting to minimize disturbances and maximize yield in cooperation with team leads and developers.
Write clear work instructions, monitor/maintain devices and tooling, and instruct production employees.
Implement and maintain robust manufacturing processes.
Life Cycle Management & Product Changes:
Prepare and introduce product changes through LCM and Modify Launched Design (MLD) workflows.
Execute equipment, software, and process validations within manufacturing.
Provide input to the Product Industrialization Engineer to optimize workflows, taking full accountability for improvements post-release.
Root Cause Analysis & Quality Assurance:
Perform Defect On Arrival (DEFOA) and Missing On Arrival (MOA) root cause analyses to implement structural solutions.
Initiate amendments, including Problem Reports (PR) and 8D problem-solving methodologies.
Lead escalations regarding production issues and complaints alongside development and relevant stakeholders.
Analyze performance data using Six Sigma and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Participate as a subject matter expert in internal and external quality audits.
New Product Introduction (NPI) & Continuous Improvement:
Support NPI projects by maintaining project planning and executing preparation activities for trial/prototype production.
Define and lead efficiency, product quality, and test section improvement projects (Green Belt level).
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
Professional Experience: 2 years of experience within manufacturing or engineering in a high-tech industry preferred.
Technical Affinity: Strong affinity with technology and a keen interest in understanding complex Mobile systems. Basic experience with Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) is required.
Quality & Systems: Experience with quality management systems. Knowledge of medical industry standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA requirements, FMEA, 8D, SPC) is highly preferred.
Tools: Preferable experience with SAP (MES) and Windchill.

Hands-on mentality with a natural inclination for accuracy and documentation.
Independent, proactive, and confident in taking ownership.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interface with everyone from operators to developers and management.
Strong analytical and comprehension skills to summarize complex data.
