KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Initiates and oversees process technology development activities
- Initiates and executes Capex optimization for initial investments
- Ensures adherence to the applicable process for product introductions, qualifications and release
- Responsible for Manufacturing input in PDLM process focusing on DfMAT.
- Accountable for Process Requirements based on Product Specifications from I&D and Manufacturing Requirements
- Accountable for process and equipment capability that meets Requirements.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles.
- Accountable for MF BOM, routing Master data
- Accountable for implementation of design changes in Philips factories and at suppliers
- Executes the processes and standards in adherence to compliance with safety, regulatory- and environmental requirements as well as local laws , Philips General Business principles and other policies

- Initiates and leads process development activities
- Defines Capex optimization for initial investments
- Ensures adherence to the applicable process for product introductions, qualifications and release
- Initiates DfMAT in PDLM processes
- Accountable for Process Requirements based on Product Specifications from I&D and Manufacturing Requirements
- Accountable for process and equipment capability that meets Requirements - Apply lean manufacturing principles

- Responsible for resources, planning, quality and cost (including Capex) for Industrialization projects

- Basic understanding of Business processes
- Basic design for 6 sigma
- Basic Operational Excellence (including Lean Manufacturing, problem solving etc.)
- Basic design for manufacturing, assembly and testability
- Basic project Management Skills

- Stop process if safety or quality is at risk
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 5 years’ related experience (for Bachelor degree)
- Minimum 3 years’ related experience (for Master degree)
