LCM Electrical Designer (Contract)

Location: Best, Netherlands

Duration Assignment: 12 months (with possible extension)

Contract: via a Randstad company

Hours/week: 40

Budget range: 3750,- till 5600,- per month

In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Make life better!In this role, you challenge your engineering skills as an LCM Electrical Designer, focusing on the development, maintenance, validation, and verification of electrical components and systems in Interventional Guided Therapy Systems (IGT). You'll operate in a multidisciplinary R&D team, ensuring that our systems meet international medical standards and deliver outstanding performance and patient safety.

You will be responsible for:

  • Designing and maintaining electrical and electronic systems, including specifications and quality criteria (CtS/CtQ).

  • Ensuring design quality, reliability, and compliance with medical safety regulations.

  • Creating test strategies and plans for electrical safety and EMC compliance.

  • Managing electrical risk and contributing to product safety.

  • Cooperating closely with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.

  • Supporting continuous factory operations and lifecycle maintenance.

  • Aligning with functions such as mechanical, mechatronics, validation, purchasing, and quality.

  • Promoting design for quality and reliability (Six Sigma, continuous improvement).

  • Participating in the strategic direction and vision of the electrical engineering team.


To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with a Bachelor's degree.


Preferred Experience:

  • 5+ years in an engineering environment, ideally within the medical or another regulated industry.

  • Proven experience in electronics system design, validation, and verification.

  • Knowledge of medical quality standards and continuous improvement practices.

  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural teams.

  • Experience in lifecycle product development.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Proactive, hands-on, and accurate approach to tasks.

  • Familiarity with the SAFe agile framework is a plus.
