Description:

Responsibilities :

• Install, troubleshoot VMware ESXi servers, vCenter servers, Windows, and Linux Operating System instances as per business need.

• Rackmount, install and operationalize bare-metal servers, storages and network devices in Datacentre.

• Execute infrastructure change requests as per business demands and ensure smooth handover.

• Provide infrastructure related technical consultation to customers, business, and global R&D community.

• Build innovative digital propositions using best in class IT solutions to the Philips R&D business units with quality and cost effectiveness.

• Ensure that the availability and performance of R&D systems and solutions are met as per the SLA and KPI

Mandatory Skills Required

Domain: Infrastructure Virtualization

• Strong knowledge on industry standard virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere, KVM, OpenShift, etc.

Good analytical and troubleshooting skills on VMware virtualization platform.

 VSphere cluster – HA, DRS, vMotion, storage vMotion etc.

 VCenter/VCSA management

 Troubleshoot VMFS, Datastores, extends, multi-pathing algorithms.

 Infra performance analysis and log analysis procedures

 Experience in implementing infra monitoring and performance analysis tools.

• Working knowledge on tools like PowerCLi, vROPS and vRLI

• Strong knowledge on operational activities on virtualized infrastructure

• Install, Configure, manage & maintain virtualized infrastructure.

• VM templates, OVA, backup management

• Installation, configuration & management of OS and applications related to infrastructure that are necessary to support Philips product development environment.

• Various VM provisioning methods, troubleshooting related to cloning, snapshots, P2V, V2V, backup etc.

• Configuration modification on virtual machine files

• Exposure in security patching procedures and tools used on patching ESXi, vCenter, vROPs, etc.

Domain: Linux

 Install, configure and maintain Linux servers (CentOS, Redhat, Ubuntu, Oracle Linux OS etc.)

 Hands-on on troubleshooting OS performance issues, filesystem/drivers/applications related troubleshooting. Good understanding of Dockers, Kubernetes, containers.

 Install, configure and maintain Windows servers (Windows 2016/219/2022)

 Install, configure and maintain Windows Client (Windows10/11)

 Working knowledge on Active directory and DNS, Group polices

 Hands-on on troubleshooting OS performance issues, filesystem/drivers

 Basic Under standing of PowerShell
