Job Description
Following the redefinition of our brand positioning and the need to drive brand preference and Sales, we at Philips Avent now want to drive our new messaging in the hearts and minds of consumers through all of our touchpoints in a consistent and impactful way.
We are currently looking for a Graphic Designer that will be part of the Philips Avent Marketing team, but working mostly in delivering this new messaging in the Pregnancy+ Platform (P+). The person will be working in an agile cell with a number of other resources from various teams with the sole objective to drive engagement and find creative ways to unlock the P+ user base into value for Avent

We are looking for a highly creative graphic designer who can take conceptual ideas and create visual representations for Avent, in various forms and channels. Our ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current design software and skilled with every step of the design process from concept to the final deliverable. Collaborating with multiple teams at our company, the graphic designer should be able to take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that connects. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of branding and marketing, with the ability to vary style and layouts depending on the project. Objectives and Responsibilities of this Role

•   Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams or stakeholders to create a wide range of materials for Philips Avent that may include web pages, ads, banners, emails etc with a mobile first approach
•   Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity
•   Work closely with analysts to optimise based on data-driven recommendations
•   Able to execute ad-hoc requests, whilst also providing feedback on potential improvements
•   Research and suggest additional ad types to Improve performance
•   Video editing and “quick” asset creation
•   Update and maintain internal databases of designs, photography, and video
•   Obtain input from management, ensuring designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company or client appropriately
•   Be the brand guardian for Philips Avent and make sure that any activation within P+ is in line with the Avent positioning, communication framework and overall activation plan.


Skills and Qualifications
•   Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art, or similar discipline
•   Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills
•   3+ years in professional graphic design, preferably with a creative or marketing agency
•   Proven experience with graphic design, with a strong portfolio of work
•   Excellent communication and presentation skills
•   Working knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript
•   Excellent communication and presentation skills
•   Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
