Electronics Engineer

Duration Assignment: 12 months (with possible extension)

Contract: via a Randstad company

Salary range: €4300 - €5700

In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Make life better! In this role, you challenge the development of electronic subsystems, such as computing platforms and user interfaces, for Philips Image Guided Therapy. You will lead verification and reliability testing activities in a highly regulated environment, ensuring components meet strict quality and safety standards.

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing test specifications for various subsystems like the computing platform.

  • Linking CTQ/CTS requirements to test strategies.

  • Developing and reviewing lifetime, environmental, packaging, and safety testing.

  • Creating and/or participating in design reviews and risk assessments (e.g., FMEA).

  • Alignment with other functions (electrical, mechatronics, norm compliance, test and validation, purchase, quality, other).

  • Conducting early integration tests on predefined prototypes and addressing supplier issues; you will follow up on any necessary actions.

  • Executing verification of units and parts according to your assignment.

  • Performing all tasks in line with established department processes.


To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant R&D working experience.

  • Experience in product design, development, and maintenance of released products.

  • Excellent design documentation skills.

  • Result oriented, self-steering, and problem-solving attitude.

  • Ability to work independently & to act pro-actively.

  • Good command of English (both written and verbal).

  • Work experience in Agile Release Trains following SAFe framework will be a plus.

  • Quality mindset, a Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt will be a plus.

  • Experience and knowledge of EMC in design and testing will be a plus.
