Your challenge
Our products are based on standard PC hardware. The basic layer in the product is the Operating System component, integrated with third party components, like drivers and antivirus software. Installation, configuration and support on these components are the main responsibilities of the DevOps-OS engineer.
Do you have DevOps-OS mindset and the technical skills to provide communication, integration, automation, and close cooperation among all the people needed to plan, develop, test, deploy, release, and maintain OS’s for our IGT systems? Are you able to manage the OS configuration throughout the whole lifecycle? Are you pro-active and someone who can drive change? Then we are looking for you!
Your responsibilities
As a DevOps-OS Engineer, your responsibilities include:
•   Translate the requirements from the project in cooperation with project architects to a unit specification for the operating system
•   Configure / implement, test and integrate the operating system.
•   Develop and maintain the required (test) tooling and installation scripts conform the departmental procedures.
•   Analyze & solve problems on system level related to the operating system.
•   Document according to departmental procedures.
•   Define and implement build, infrastructure and script improvements that will improve and speed-up the operating system lifecycle

We are looking for someone with …
•   At least a Bachelor degree in Informatics, Computer Science or equivalent
•   In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems, installation, configuration, customization
•   Networking knowledge
•   Scripting knowledge (like VB script, PowerShell and CMD-line)
•   Knowledge about security, firewall configuration etc..
•   Ability to test the functionality of the Operating System Products
•   Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders
•   A ‘lean” person who can drive change and continuously seeks improvements and ways to reduce ‘waste’.
•   Analytical skills
