Data Analyst (Freelance)

Data analyst, working as part of a small Marketing data model development team. The temporary team member (3-4 months) needs strong analytical skills to compare data from different models, work as the liaison between the development team and central program team and report comparison results.

This role will bridge the project constraints around usage of data and specific development requirements.

Job description:

Within Marketing and Sales we are striving to optimize our ways of working through insights both from internal and external sources and modelling. The Data Analyst will contribute to the work of a data modelling scrum team working from Bangalore, India. This is a temporary role (3-4 months) in which you need strong analytical skills to compare data from different models, work as the liaison between the development team and central program team and report comparison results. The candidate must be extremely organized and capable of analyzing and comparing large amounts of data within many files (10-200) with similar formats.

Minimally a general understanding of MS Excel is required, but ideally the candidate will have a strong understanding of VBA Excel macros. During startup the job will be fulltime for 1 week to learn the work environment. Then, depending on the level of experience the candidate will need to work up to 1 day per week.

The data analyst will work online via MS Teams with the rest of the development team, located in Bangalore (India) and the central program team, located in Amsterdam.

In this role, you have the opportunity to work with a team of Marketing data modelling and analysis experts to develop data analysis tools which have an impact on marketing activities in our International Marketing & Sales organizations.

You are responsible for data analysis and comparison of output between two systems and will report into the project manager of the development project.

You are part of one of the key Philips project organizations contributing to the success of our Personal Health international marketing and sales organizations. The team works in an agile scrum way and has members with multiple nationalities

To succeed in this role you should have the following skills and experience:

-   At least general understanding of MS Excel, preferably knowledge of VBA Excel Macros
