Job Description
For the TransIT (Translational Research IT) project we are looking for a data integration expert. This expert should help us with the data management, data curation and data integration for the prostate cancer project RE-IMAGINE (https://www.reimagine-pca.org/). The data consists of clinical data, imaging data, digital pathology data and genomics data. Data integration will take place with the tranSMART open source software (http://transmartfoundation.org/), which was previously used within similar projects. tranSMART should be connected with statistical software such as R-studio to enable the statisticians from the project to perform their analyses.
The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree in (bio or medical) informatics with 2-3 years’ experience in data management, data science, bioinformatics or the like. Experience in using the tranSMART software is a plus, as well as software such as OpenClinica, XNAT and REDCap.
