Philips is looking for a Component Data Management Specialist to support its global Electronic Design Platform and component management activities. The role will focus on component qualification, data management, lifecycle management, compliance, and migration of legacy component data into PTC Windchill PLM.

You will work closely with engineering and business stakeholders to ensure accurate, complete, and compliant component data within Philips' systems and support the ongoing PCBA Platform program.

• Support component registration and data management activities for the Philips PCBA Platform program.

• Create, maintain, verify, and enrich electronic component data in PTC Windchill PLM.

• Transfer and migrate existing legacy component databases into PTC Windchill for designated lead customers.

• Perform data cleansing, validation, and master data management activities to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

• Manage component lifecycle data and support component qualification, availability, and compliance activities.

• Work with electronic and electro-mechanical component data, including SMT and THT components.

• Support BOM management and Change Management activities related to component data.

• Generate reports and KPIs to monitor data quality, completeness, and process performance.

• Analyze component data and translate findings into actionable improvements.

• Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to resolve data-related issues and improve component management processes.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to electronic component data and PCBA design processes.

• Bachelor's degree (B.Sc./B.E./B.Tech) in Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or a relevant engineering discipline.

• 4–5 years of experience in Component Data Management, Master Data Management, or Component Lifecycle Management.

• Strong knowledge of electronic and electro-mechanical components, including SMT and THT components.

• Experience in database management, data migration, data cleansing, reporting, and master data management.

• Experience working with BOM and Change Management processes.

• Hands-on experience with PTC Windchill PLM is preferred/required.

• Ability to analyze data and translate insights into improvement actions and KPIs.

• Good understanding of electronic design and component management processes.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Proactive, adaptable, and willing to learn.

• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with global and cross-functional teams.

The Electronic Design Services (EDS) group is part of the Reliability Solutions organization and consists of approximately 60 highly skilled technical professionals specializing in electronic design.

EDS plays an important role in establishing and managing Philips' global Electronic Design Platform, covering schematics, PCBA design and technology, e-Component Management, and prototyping services for Philips businesses and external customers worldwide.

The EDS organization operates across Eindhoven, Netherlands; Cambridge, USA; and Bengaluru, India. This position will be based in Bengaluru and will report to the EDS Bangalore Group Leader.

• This is a replacement requisition for the HC previously held by Devindra Badiger, who has resigned.

• The position is at CG45 level.

• The role is required to support the high workload within the PCBA Platform and is covered under the AOP 2026 plan.

• This is a replacement position with no increase in headcount; the overall HC remains flat.
